Strange Music, the most successful Independent Record Label on this plane continued their dominance in 2017 with Tech N9ne Collabos – Strange Reign. One of the most anticipated Albums all year, Tech N9ne Collabos continues to top the charts and keep Strange Music in high demand. Jay Trilogy and Joey Cool steal the spotlight from Tech N9ne and JL on the opener Cold Piece Of Work. Next Minimize featuring Stevie Stone, Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko is incredible. Stevie Stone and Krizz Kaliko together are amazing. Brand New Hunnids is a nice street record which features Tech, JL, Rittz & Jeff James. Shit gets serious on Let Go. Big Scoob, Darrein Safron and Tech N9ne straight kill shit! Me being in the press, Is You The Police? is hella funny. Murs, JL, Tech N9ne and Ubiquitous each give their side of this story. Next Come Down is a classic Tech, Stevie Stone and Krizz Kaliko track, pure heat with no sign of going out, ever. Big Scoob and Tech eat up another Michael SevenSummers instrumental on Let’s Link. I love the song Price Is Going Up by iMayday! and Tech N9ne, I totally agree, well deserved. A nice change of tempo on Whatever You Want featuring Mackenzie Nicole and Darrein Safron. The same vibe is continued on Dangerous featuring Above Waves and Tech N9ne, this is great Music! Rapping for a mature audience is a Tech N9ne/Strange Music specialty. Just peep Stick It In with Tech & Krizz and Plenty where Ces Cru along with Krizz Kaliko and Stevie Stone each get a turn at bat and let’s just say they reached base safely. The Rock/Pop single of the Album is These Hands. Prozak featuring Tech N9ne, Wrekonize & Mackenzie Nicole, pure fire! For those who purchased the Deluxe Edition then you got the bonus songs or disc in my case. Big Scoob absolutely delivers one of the most truthful verses on this whole project. Quicksand features Godemis and Stevie Stone. This whole song is a look into reality with no fucks given! Off My Square is cool, it’s iMayday! Featuring Tech N9ne and Rittz. Settle Down is a great change of pace. Lyin is a Trap record, not bad at all though, great quality as compared to many getting major views today. Last, Krizz Kaliko drops Face Down which highlights Krizz Kaliko’s voice and rhyme skill. Strange Music owned all of 2017, just like they are so far in 2018.
